Kaine
Riggan
Producing Director
Originally from Henderson, North Carolina, Kaine moved to
Nashville in 1995 to pursue a career in country music. After
a stint
as
a demo singer for Nashville songwriters, Kaine was cast in
The Ryman Auditorium's production of Smoke On The Mountain.
His ability to sing, act and play a variety of acoustic bluegrass/country
instruments took him all over the country as the painfully
shy aspiring preacher Dennis Sanders in Connie Ray and Alan
Bailey's hit musical. This role also landed him center stage
at The Grand Ole Opry, fulfilling a life-long dream. In 1999,
he created his own production company, Nashville Stages,
Inc. where he directed and produced tours of Always,
Patsy Cline; Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor
Dreamcoat and Nuncrackers.
In
2002, Kaine and Nashville businessman Dave Jones re-opened
the Lee Greenwood Theatre in Sevierville, Tennessee where
they produced Always, Patsy Cline and a weekly
country music celebrity showcase called Nashville Nights.
Following
the
sale of the theatre, Kaine was hired as the Director of
Performing Arts for the State of Tennessee.
He
is also the co-founder of the Senior Center for the Arts,
a non-profit
arts organization in Nashville which
provides
high quality, but affordable theatre to all ages. Proceeds
from the theatre program go to providing music, dance,
theatre and visual arts to active senior citizens throught
the state.
Also
a playwright, Riggan's first musical comedy Could It
Be Love has enjoyed sold-out runs for
three consecutive years,
including a visit to the Ryman Auditorium
in 2005. His second musical comedy, A Scattered, Smothered & Covered
Christmas, was a collaboration with numerous successful songwriters
including Randy Travis,
Paul Overstreet and T. Graham Brown.

Dennis Nelson
Corporate Sponsorships & Team Marketing
Dennis
Nelson has learned from more than 30 years in
business and his continual
and varied involvement in community and civic
programs that partnerships are the key to successful marketing.
His promotions and marketing company, VIP Partners, is
Nashville Stages' liaison for corporate sponsorship and
team marketing. VIP, is an acronym for "ventures in
production" and
to Nelson, "partners" defines his business
beliefs that "the success of any worth while endeavor
depends a great deal on effective communication, mutual
respect and trust
amongst all parties involved." In his company mission
statement, a great deal of ink is devoted to his strong
belief in the importance
that "success in any venture is simply forming winning
coalitions in promotion and marketing, with a collective
eye on the goal and positive end results." From writing
business plans and prospectuses for stage, film and music
productions
and seeking corporate sponsorships, to promotional event
planning and execution for businesses and individuals,
VIP Partners
creates and executes freestanding and supplemental promotional
and marketing
plans for commercial and non-profit organizations. Dennis

Brad
Kamer joined Nashville Stages as technical director, after
visiting a performance with his wife and daughter
and "falling in love with the theatre." Brad has
an extensive background as a carpenter (as well as being a
mild-mannered accountant by day).
His set designs amazingly adapt from the 24-foot proscenium
of the dinner theatre to the 60-foot prosceniums of the Acuff
Theatre and the Ryman Auditorium. He has served as technical
director for more than two dozen productions for Nashville
Stages thus far.
At a towering 6'6" tall, he is also the "resident
policeman" in all productions that call for one. He is
seen here in a 2006 production of Ragtime.
